We are thrilled to announce the addition of two outstanding professionals to the Virginia Association of Addiction Professionals (VAAP) Board of Directors: Willetta Wilson and Christine Chow. Their wealth of experience and dedication to the field will undoubtedly enrich our organization’s mission and vision.
Willetta Wilson joins our board with a distinguished background in counseling and therapy. Trained, certified, and licensed as a professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, master addiction counselor, and board-certified telehealth therapist, Willetta brings extensive expertise to her role. She has facilitated information and discussion panels with esteemed organizations including the Department of Behavioral Health, Fort Belvoir, Employee Assistance Programs, Northern Virginia Counselors Association, and American Counselors Association. Willetta’s commitment to effective communication, leadership, counselor development, and strategic planning will greatly benefit VAAP.
Christine Chow is another valuable addition to our board. As a Program Manager at Insight Recovery Centers, Christine has demonstrated exceptional leadership and clinical skills. Her responsibilities include program development, clinical team management, outreach, and client care. Christine’s proactive approach and dedication to advancing addiction treatment align perfectly with VAAP’s mission.
